	VOLUNTEERS

At Whisper Mountain, we love our Volunteers and love the opportunity to let those with the time and talents join in with God's work here. While Volunteers help us keep the cost of programming as low as possible, they also add a spirit of fun and fellowship as they co-labor with our full time and seasonal staff. We have need of adult volunteers at various times each year for specific events, retreats and community outreach programs. For those outside of the local area coming to help, we may also be able to provide housing!

Some of our occasional volunteer projects include:

                * Musicians - Vocal & Instramentalists
                * Skilled painters
                * General labor for clean up
                * General labor for trail clearing
                * Kitchen & Dining Hall assistants
                * Plumbers/HVAC/Electricians - maintenance & repairs
                * Data Entry Personnel - occasional help
                * General office help - mail outs & occasional projects
                * Construction of games & other building projects
                * Photographers - during events and camp weeks

Some of our special events to give time to include:

                * Memorial Day Family Fun Day - a Family Fun day for our local
                   community. Volunteers would help with set-up/tear-down, running
                   game booths, face painting, clowns, music, drama, concessions, etc.
                * Spring True ID girl's retreat - cabin counselors, kitchen help, various
                   preparation/tear down jobs
                * Summer Help: grounds & maintenance, clean-up, kitchen assistants
                * Fall & Spring work teams and retreats - general help in running the
                   events, preparation/clean-up, and kitchen help

Volunteering at Whisper Mountain is a great way to be an important part
of this ministry. Come and serve along with us!

Volunteer Highlights

Derol & Carol Painter visited and were such a burst of sunshine for us! Derol volunteered to pressure wash the cabins in
preparation of new exterior finish. Carol put
one of marketing tools together for us. We
appreciate them so much for giving of
themselves in this way!

Steve Taylor came to help with finishing the
Dining Hall trim and help with various
other tasks around the property!
Steve has a servant's heart that
both blessed and encouraged us all!

Alex Alexandrov comes to Whisper Mountain several times a year! He is our unofficial mechanic, helping to keep our equipment in working order. He also does whatever odd jobs haven't been completed! If you spend just a few minutes with Alex you will hear of his great love for God!

We couldn't do without him!

Adriane and Virgil came for a weekend to offer their talent and skill in repainting our cabins and bathhouse! What a fresh coat of paint can do! Our ongoing friendship with Adriane and newfound friendship with Virgil were strengthened through their time spent with us! Thank you for your time, talent and friendship!
