Summer Camp

Summer Camp at Whisper Mountain looks different than the hype you may have experienced at "big" camps. We don't shy away from the fun, and there is a place for some hype, but at Whisper Mountain Camp we have a heart to intentionally connect with campers and their leaders in a more intimate environment.

"I loved such close connections with all the staff. The highlight for me was everyone knowing my name."
[teen camper, 2017]
"Thanks everyone! God used you all! The highlight for me was the time with the students and seeing them unite and love and pray for each other!"
[adult leader, 2017]
"I loved the staff and how we all bonded and actually got to know each other."
[teen camper, 2017]

Spiritual Emphasis

Encountering the quiet whisper of the personal God is a major focus at Whisper Mountain.
We offer opportunities for teens to:

  • practice quiet
  • engage in worship
  • be challenged with Biblical teaching
  • wrestle with questions in a safe environment
  • offer encouragement to each other from their own walks with Christ

Our staff build intentional relationships with campers through the week and offer discipleship follow up even after they return home.

"My camp experience was life-changing. Everything was taught so well and the staff was so involved with the students."
[teen camper, 2017]
"WM was AMAZING! The best part was getting close with staff and mending relationships in youth group."
[teen camper, 2017]
"I love how everything tied back to Christ."
[adult leader, 2017]

[teen camper, 2017]
"What a refreshing week that allowed  me to focus on students rather than on planning/programs."
