Summer Camp

Summer Camp at Whisper Mountain looks different than the hype you may have experienced at "big" camps. We don't shy away from the fun, and there is a place for some hype, but at Whisper Mountain Camp we have a heart to intentionally connect with campers and their leaders in a more intimate environment.

"I loved such close connections with all the staff. The highlight for me was everyone knowing my name."
[teen camper, 2017]
"I have been to many different camps (my dad is a youth minister). This one was special."
[adult leader, 2019]
"I had so much fun. I built so many great relationships with friends. Also, I have grown closer to my Creator than I have ever been before."
[teen camper, 2019]

Spiritual Emphasis

Encountering the quiet whisper of the personal God is a major focus at Whisper Mountain.
We offer opportunities for teens to:

  • practice quiet
  • engage in worship
  • be challenged with Biblical teaching
  • wrestle with questions in a safe environment
  • offer encouragement to each other from their own walks with Christ

Our staff build intentional relationships with campers through the week and offer discipleship follow up even after they return home.

"A great place to have fun but also connect with others and, most importantly, God."
[teen camper, 2019]
"I loved my counselors. I feel like I'm closer to them than some of my best friends. They are great at connecting with you."

"I love how everything tied back to Christ."
