Facilities
Whisper Mountain Camp is nestled in the Western corner of North Carolina on 130 acres of mountain property. Being surrounded by national forest allows our air to be clean, the water to be fresh, the woods to feel alive. We like to think we enjoy a little slice of heaven!
Camper Cabins
In keeping with our mission to intentionally connect with those who come to Whisper Mountain Camp, we never want to sleep more than 125 campers at a time. While we are making steps toward more beds, we currently sleep 54 for summer camp groups and 66 for weekend retreats. Check out the video above for a walk through of our camper cabins!
Volunteer Cabin
Built with our volunteers in mind, our plush little cabin sleeps 4 comfortably, five if you count the leather couch! A simple kitchen and bathroom make this cabin all inclusive. People who stay in our volunteer cabin prepare their own meals, unless part of an event. Check out the video above for a walk through!
Who Can Stay?
In summer, our Volunteer Cabin houses
- week/summer-long volunteers
In the fall, winter and spring the cabin houses:
- guests who need a get away
- pastors who need to recoup or plan/write/etc
- families who visit our area
(NOTE: If you'd like to sponsor the building of another cabin and receive two week time-share access, please contact us.)
