People praying is our camp's greatest place of ministry. Without people fighting unseen forces in unseen places, we will fail to reach people for Jesus. We need His power to accomplish His work.
Regular Prayer Warriors
Things "go wrong" a lot when we are working to share Jesus with people. From experience and God's Word, we know these are often spiritual attacks working to hinder us from the goal of helping people experience God's love and freedom in their lives. Our prayer warriors help to "have our backs" by praying for our staff, board, group leaders and ministry as a whole. We've put together a list of basic, ongoing prayer needs for those who want to pray regularly for Whisper Mountain Camp.
Summer Prayer Warriors
Because our summer months are the most ministry intensive times, we rally together a committed crew of prayer warriors who will pray daily for specific needs of the week. We send weekly emails through the summer months to these warriors to inform them of each group's needs, to tell them of the answered prayers and the ways we saw God work. We need as many as we can praying through the summer!
