A First

This morning I hopped out of the truck and was greeted by the sound I love at camp...the water of the creek rushing to where ever it's going! The sun kissed my cheek and made me smile.  And then I realized I would have a first today! This would be my first time on campus...alone! (me and Tegan that is!)  I've been in the office alone, I've been in the kitchen alone, but someone has always been around the camp somewhere.

It's a different feeling, as aloneness can feel so loud.  But I might kind of like it...just for today!
