Prep Work for CWE 2.0
Well, all the prayer, hard work on Marty’s part getting everything lined up in time, and (mostly*) everyone showing up to do the work, we now are happy to announce we have the concrete pad ready to receive the first week of volunteers from CWE coming in this Saturday!
(*There was one day when the people lined up to show didn’t show, but we saw the Lord provide in the last hour and all was kept on track.)
Below you will find a quick peek of the whole process up to this point:

CONCRETE SLAB
Marty had weeks of sleep loss from “concern” and stress. There was a big and heavy build up through the last month up until the slab got poured — turns out the pour happened on Marty’s birthday! Best gift ever!
There’s still lots of nitty gritty things Marty has been lining up — tracking down windows and doors (new laws have made this fun for him!), shower inserts, driving to Asheville for roof shingles, just to name a few examples. Everything is falling into place now and this weekend we will welcome the first round of volunteers.
CWE Trailer of supplies has been delivered and awaits its volunteers!
Please continue to pray for the Lord’s provision in every detail of this project, for safety of those traveling to us over these next few weeks and during their working hours, and for their experience with us to be renewing for them as they serve.
WE ARE PUMPED! Stand by for the documentation of the process. We can’t wait to share how the Lord shows up through His people and in all the details. All for His glory!
