Kate Sandnes at WM

We met a girl named Kate earlier this year when she attended a college winter retreat! We’d heard about her from others, heard about her business, gifts, and impact! And Shaun, being unafraid to ask :), reached out about her interest/willingness to come use those gifts to make impact for Whisper Mountain Camp!

Knowing her a bit better now, it’s no wonder she was willing to come! She has such a heart for Jesus, is so sweet and genuinely caring, and so eager to help in whatever way she is able!

This is Kate Sandnes of Kate Olivia Films. She captures stories of people’s moments and turns them into lifetime memories they can revisit over and over again through films. While Kate usually focuses on the wedding industry for these moments, she came and spent a good part of a week with us this summer capturing camp as it was happening! She has taken those bits and combined them with the heart and story of Whisper Mountain to help us create some promotional videos we can use to help people know more of who we are!

Kate’s heart for the Lord and her gifts of story telling really coupled together here in ways we are most grateful for! Our website’s home page has the shorter promo video, but if you go to our about page, you will find a longer version of our story! They are so good!

We want you to know about this so you can use these beautiful videos to help spread the word about Whisper Mountain Camp. Send the links to people you know that might want to bring a group, come for a special events, or serve as summer staff or volunteers! Send these videos to people looking to pour their resources into a place Proclaiming Christ to teens. But also, enjoy these videos yourself to get to know us a little better if you don’t know us well yet!
