Holiday Extravaganza 2024

Within the WM community are many people who share a heart and burden to share the gospel with teens. They have different ways of expressing and moving that forward, but each one has a deep love for the Lord and a desire to be part in some way!

A few weeks ago, one such person gathered tables full of beautiful things, crafted or curated, and gathered a small group of women and they ran a booth at what is called a Holiday Extravaganza — a church run craft show!

Debbie Propp pours months into creating something special for people to come shop from. She’s got an eye for decor and display and knows just what will be perfect for that little corner of a home! She asked businesses to donate things, she thrifted things, and she created things. She used her talent and skill to fill tables with so many good things for shoppers to choose from.

She also used her fantastic people skills to rally a small group of women to help her run the table at the show. These ladies talked with the customers and sharing about Whisper Mountain Camp and our mission here. They helped bring holiday joy to the crowds which only ever represents Jesus beautifully! From the products to the displays to the salesmanship, everything was done over the top and with excellence!

They had a very successful day raising thousands of dollars to be given toward camper scholarships for this upcoming year!

We find these people to be so beautiful in sharing a heart for Jesus and being willing to sacrifice time, resources and energy to help pull off these kinds of events! Everyone doing their part, using their gifts, toward the work of this ministry is a beautiful display of God’s glory and goodness!
