June in Pictures
Our first month of summer camp has been full of goodness! Our staff have come together to be just the right unit God is equipping and using for the campers He’s bringing through this summer! The campers every week comment on how loved they feel and great our staff is at connecting with them. They are impacted when our staff prays over them, offers Biblical insight into their circumstances back home, or teaches them what it looks like to follow and know God in their every day lives. God is also doing some big things in our staff’s lives as well, challenging and growing them, which isn’t always fun, but is just what they want as they are becoming more like Christ!
The sounds of summer are our favorites, unless we are in the Hub (our dining room) — then it’s just plain loud! 🤣 But hearing campers’ voices echoing through the valleys, hearing friends laughing together while they are walking to the next event, listening to the voices lifted in praise during our worship service — people getting outside (even when it’s too hot) together, sharing experiences and conversations of the heart — it’s a beautiful process to behold. It’s plain fun with an eternal depth that changes lives. Here are a few pictures from our month of June so far: the adventure, the connections, the worship, the solo time!
We are seeing teens enter relationship with Jesus for the first time, hunger for more time in the Word of God, and find the importance of following Jesus within a community of other believers! To God be the Glory!
Pray for us as we keep going!
